We are currently providing all the data pertaining to the US Ocean Import Shipments. In addition, we have an in-house research team to add intelligence on top of that. Some of the data includes Bill of Lading number, Shipment Arrival Date, US Port of Arrival, Importer's name, Exporter's name, Product Description, Country of Origin etc.
Trademo Intel sources this data from a variety of public and private sources including US CBP, Logistics players, Ocean Carriers etc.
As of now, we have only US Ocean Import Shipments data. We will soon start providing Trade data of other countries in Trademo Intel.
Trademo Intel has 500 million+ US and other countries' shipments data and detail profile of 5 million+ buyers and suppliers globally.
Trademo Intel leverages the US Bill of Lading data which is a legal document. Putting the wrong information in Bill of Lading can lead to penalties and seizement of shipments. So, in this regard, data is very much accurate.
- House Bill of Lading:A bill issued to the shipper by the freight forwarder.
- Master Bill of Lading: Issued by Shipping/Carrier companies to a freight forwarder.
- Regular Bill of Lading:Defined as a non-master bill of lading with no underlying house bills. Also referred to as a straight bill or simple bill.
Data gets updated almost every day with a time lag of 1-2 days from the arrival date of shipment.
Air Shipment data is not available under Freedom Of Information Act(United States).
If there is any discrepancy in data that you see, please take a screenshot of same and share with us on [email protected]

Depending upon the plan, Trademo Intel customers are allowed to download the data. One shipment record download means one Bill of Lading data or data of one row as you see in the Search results. If you download same shipment twice at different intervals then it would be counted as two downloads.
No, there is no rollover of unused downloads. Every month it starts with fresh credits.
There could be multiple scenarios:
- There could be a spelling mistake or you may have chosen the exact phrase. For example, Praxis Inc. may not be available but try searching Praxis only.
- The data may exist prior to the date your subscription allows you to search for.
- Few companies trade under different names than their brand name.
- Few companies may have requested specifically to opt-out from the database.
- The underlying value of the shipment for such companies may be less than $2500. For less than $2500 shipment value, it is not mandatory to file the Bill of Lading record.
Sometimes the Ocean carrier updates the previously filed records with US CBP during the transit of the shipment. But at times such updates also happen after several weeks/months of the initial filing. So these updates lead to change in the data but that % is very low.
